Great Sales 8/5/2010

Good selection of the popular Super Hero genre. Free subscription service. Cheap back issues as well as a big selection. Friendly employees and customers. Well behaved gamers on Friday nights. Quite a diversity of ages playing and all seemed to be having a good time. Offered to find items if I couldn't scrounge up what I was looking for. Smoke free environment. I always enjoy my visits to get my weekly comics or Magic fix. more

Good Store, but could be bigger 8/4/2010

I'm just getting around to my review, but I saw that my counter to another review was answered. At least he was honest about holding a grudge. However, I didn't have any problems with any of the Magic players and there was more than enough room. I had more fun on Sat. because it was a draft with some newer players, which I am one of. As for comics they have all the main stream and then some. Could use a few more independent publishers, but other than that I think this place is a fine establishment. To aman2468 grow up. If you don't like the place don't go. No need to slam a place. Just go find a new one. No complaints from this corner. Hope this little shop can keep going in this economy. I'm rooting for them more

Great home grown store 8/4/2010

I think this is one of the best little comic stores around. You don't see many shops of this size around anymore. Big business is cutting into too many little shops. Not sure what was up with the other reviewers but I think this place is a super place to game and get books. Could use a little more in the indie dept. but you can special order anything out there. Employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. Willing to go the extra mile. I would go back for sure and I would bring friends. A must stop for anyone who likes comics and games. Even some sports card stuff too more

Needs more room 11/19/2009

Enjoyable atmosphere with friendly employees. New comics easy to find. Good selection of supplies. Lots of trades and hard covers to choose from. Had a"" buy two, get one free"" on trades going at the time. The owner and customers brought me into a conversation about the industry which was rather enjoyable.\r Logs of Magic and Star Wars gamers in back of store going about their business. Seemed to be enjoying themselves. Well behaved. Carries select gaming products based on sales and owners personal favorites.\r Had a good time. Pros: Lots of Marvel/DC Cons: Few Indies more
