I would not call this so call Judge ?HONORABLE? by any means. If you are a creditor filing a motion to collect from a debtor beware, this Judge will NOT take the time to get the facts. She does not care enough to research cases that demand full knowledge of the law to make a fair ruling.
My mom was a creditor represented by her Attorney, and this Judge was horrible, she didn't allow the Attorney a chance to present the case or barely speak. She was out of control, yelling, interrupting constantly, and failed to perform her job competently. She even claimed the Attorney did not provide her with a declaration, yelling at him with no respect.
We had faith that we would win because we won this case in the Ventura Superior Court, but the defendant filed chapter 7 to avoid paying over $300.000 to my mom.
After the hearing Judge Riblet found the ?missing document it was right in front of her so our Attorney filed a motion for a request for reconsideration due to her ?ERROR? but Judge Riblet denied our request. We would have won if she had not misplaced the documentation and allowed the reconsideration for us to present the facts filed in the misplaced papers but she refused!
We are now in an appeal at the 9th circuit courts due to her lack of knowledge regarding ""LAW"" and her unwillingness to reconsider the case when she was at fault. This case needed to be heard not carelessly neglected, and written off for her convenience. This Judge?s disregard towards this case changed my mother?s life drastically at the age of 73 years old!!! Judge Robin L Riblet is a disgrace to the judicial system!!!
