Its nice to read good reviews about a Judge, making good judgments , I pray the Judge will do the same in my case, I'm having to sue a large firm, O'Conner & Associates, GAI, In order to redeem my home that,O'Conners & GAI , has tried to steel from me & my family, because they got a small claims judgment , they said I owed them $ 549.00 , I did not! our home valued on HCAD $ 285,000, no mortgage! O'Conner & associates, was indited by Texas Attorney General, for Deceptive Business Practices!! I Pray the Lord will be with me and my Family,and we will be allowed are home back!! more

Courteous Judge 8/20/2010

I lost my job and was unable to pay rent. I went to court to explain that I wanted to pay the rent but didn't have the money. The judge listened to what I had to say and then ruled against me but instead of just ending and telling me to get out in five days, he asked the landlord if they would be willing to hold off until the writts day if I could come up with the money would they accept it late. He also told me to go the first floor to get a list of charities to see if they could help and to check with others. I got all the money but 55 dollars before the writts date the landlord took it and I did not get evicted. more

Patient with talkative defendent 2/27/2009

My daughter received a moving violation and we had to go to this judge. He was very patient with this one eviction case. (There are several different things that they handle there). The lady kept talking and talking even after the judge was talking. She was asking if she could call her witness up and he was trying to tell her that wouldn't be necessary. She must have thought she was on Judge Judy or something. I wanted to tell her myself to be quiet and let the man talk. However, he just smiled and kept calm and got through the case. Nothing like the bootleg judges you see on t.v. He seemed fair and I will make a point to vote for him. more

Super Great Judge 7/26/2007

This is a very fine, honest judge. He listens and is fair to all people --black, white, Hispaniards and Chinese. He treats everyone the same and is very smart. He can tell when someone is lying. I am saying to everyone that they should remember to vote to keep him elected, Pros: SUPER GREAT JUDGE--VERY FAIR more

Very, very well-run court 2/20/2007

This court was packed with people for a variety of cases, so when I arrived I expected a long wait. Instead the judge called my case shortly after I arrived. There were court clerks assisting people in English, Spanish and some Asian language. They gave me an information sheet with good ideas. I really thought the judge seemed like a fair person and a very hard-worker. Pros: parking is expensive Cons: Good, POLITE Clerks, VERY FAIR, IMPARTIAL JUDGE ....THUMBS UP more
