Hong Lok Lau is and has been the best place to get old fashioned chinese food for many years. My late- father loved their Egg Foo Young, my sister loves their subgum dishes, and I go crazy for their Warr Shui Opp (pressed duck) You won't find that on the menu of any of the new and trendy chinese-like restaurants. I enjoy bringing or meeting friends and relatives here for a good meal! If you love old fashioned chinese food but not the decor, Take-out is your best option. Also they still serve those hot, soft, and slightly sweet dinner rolls. ENJOY!
