I got the General Tao's Chicken, a sushi platter, and the seaweed salad (well, not me personally, but we all shared). Everything tasted great. Actually, some of the best Chinese...

Like any other Chinese Restaurant 11/11/2008

Just like any other take out Chinese restaurant, although this one is probably the best one on the island and has the fastest service...when they say ten minutes, they mean it. more

Average 9/21/2008

For the price, I think the quality of the food is fair. During my visit, the service kind of made me feel more like a number than and individual. I don't have anything bad to say, just that this restaraunt could improve a little more on their hospitality and maybe search for better quality ingredients. Pros: Next to the movie theatre, nice location for dinner and a movie Cons: quality of food may be lower than those who seek quality in asian dining. more

The worst Chinese meal I have had in 45 years! 9/13/2007

I have been eating Chinese food since I was 10 years old. I have eaten it in the street stalls of Hong Kong. I have eaten it in Eastern Europe when they could barely get the ingredients to make it. Never, in all my years of eating Chinese have I ever had a meal that was SO bad. The menu listed Beef Szechuan and Beef Hunan on the same line with no list of ingredients. As I wanted to make sure I had the right meal I asked the waitress to describe the ingredients. She said, "The ingredients are the same. One is made with plum sauce and one is made with hot sauce." I didn't really want anything hot so I told her to go with the plum sauce. In the back of my mind, I thought this was strange as I could never remember any sauce on either Szechuan or Hunan in my experiences. In fact, the only time I have ever encountered plum sauce has been with Moo Shi Pork. You coat the pancakes with plum sauce and it really enhances the meal. My meal arrived with all of the ingredients covered in plum sauce. The color of all the ingredients was the same. Mushrooms were purple/brown. Broccoli was purple/brown, corn was purple/brown, meat was purple/brown. I wish I could load the photo we took of it. My description doesn't do it justice. I managed to eat most of the meat and one piece each of the other ingredients and that was it. I don't think I will ever eat Moo Shi Pork again as I never want to see plum sauce again. I may never eat Chinese again it was so bad. Five days later I still get ill just thinking about it. It may be just this one meal is awful. I did have a piece of General Tso's chicken from another diner and it wasn't half bad. If they had just left the plum sauce off it, my meal might have been good. Still, I would stear clear of this restaurant. The Hot & Sour soup was adequate. For me though the best part of the meal was the fortune cookie. It was quite firm and tasty. The fortunes we had unfortunately made no sense at all. If you go, good luck!! Pros: Good Parking and staff (except possibly the cook) seemed adequate Cons: One meal is hard to judge a whole menu but I wouldn't give them a second chance! more

Terrible Food. Not the best Chinese on the Island. 9/13/2007

Some of the worst Chinese that I have ever eaten. There is a much better Chinese restaurant a mile down on N. Roosevelt blvd. near the Outback and the Champs shoe store. Pros: Funny watching the person across from you choking on gobs of plumb sauce and terrible food. Cons: Bad food. more

Pretty Good 7/19/2006

Having a Chinese husband, we are very picky in our quest for Chinese food. This place delivers pretty decent food, considering its location and its "americanized" menu. It serves the best hot & sour soup my husband has ever had. The sushi is pretty good too. One peeve of mine: no chow fun noodles, but that's probably because there are no asian food stores down here to get authentic food items. The same goes for the traditional crystal shrimp dumplings usually found - they dont' have them. The General Tso's chicken is good also. Pros: Decent food, good prices, good sushi Cons: Not many "authentic" dishes - mostly americanized Chinese food more

Excellent food, reasonable prices 12/9/2002

I got the General Tao's Chicken, a sushi platter, and the seaweed salad (well, not me personally, but we all shared). Everything tasted great. Actually, some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The food looked pretty as well. Amazingly, the prices were similar to that of Chinese takeout. Pros: inexpensive, great parking, excellent food Cons: language barrier more
