The empty restaurant on busy Main Strreet should have been a clue, but it seems I'm an eternal optimist when it comes to chinese/asian restaurants.\r
After some hiking at Clifty Falls, my boyfriend and I stopped at Hong Kong Kitchen for lunch. I ordered the Cashew Chicken lunch special. YIKES! It was all celery and carrots, with a few pieces of baby corn. There were lots of cashews, but they weren't quite right - they might have been older, or maybe frozen and thawed.\r
The worst was the ""chicken"". The texture was really weird. It was super-soft and chewy, and reminded me of firm gelatin. I couldn't eat it. And I couldn't even push it off on my boyfriend.\r
What else can I expect for $4.50 though???
