I have gone to Honest 1 numerous times. I took my Saturn Relay in for ABS and TC lights on my dash. They had it in the shop for over two months, even though I suggested more than once sending it to the dealership to fix, since it seemed they were too inept to figure out the issue. I authorized all repairs needed to fix the issue and even took out two separate loans to pay for it. They replaced the ABS computer twice, replaced the passenger side wheel hub twice, rerouted the wiring harness from the ABS computer to the hubs, and a month after I got it back, the lights came back on. I took it in to get looked at to see if it was an issued covered under the warranty of them just having "fixed" the issue. I never authorized any work to be done. They brought a computer specialist out to look at it and he informed them that the wiring harness needed to be replaced and he had actually suggested that when it was in before, yet the wiring harness never got replaced. The General Manager took it upon himself to keep my van over night, without calling me to let me know, and then the next morning, without authorization, spent most of the day doing work on the wiring harness. When I went to pick it up, they told me if I didn't pay over $300 for work I never authorized, that I wouldn't get my van back. I had to open a line of credit there in the store to pay for it. A week afterward, the same lights came back on. I took it to a friends house to check it out. Pulled the passenger side wheel off to look at the hub, and without touching anything, the plug from the harness fell out of the bottom of the hub. It wasn't the same size as the female connection on the new hub. I put a $.02 zip tie on the harness to hold it in place, and have had no issues since. They wanted to charge me over $400 for a $60 harness and labor to replace something that most likely wouldn't have stayed plugged in anyway.
I have had to continue to take vehicles back to them because now that I have the Car Care Credit card from them, they are the only shop that takes it, so it has just been out of lack of options that I have been back to get certain jobs done.
I just recently had my Dodge Durango in to get the oil changed and the oil pan seal replaced. They ended up doing the rear main seal also. They told me it would be a one day job. I took them my vehicle first thing in the morning. They spent all day on it, and without calling me, they were going to keep it over night, not checking to see if I needed a loaner vehicle or if I even had a ride. They had my vehicle two full days for a one day job and were extremely rude to me when I came to pay the bill and get my keys.
This is now numerous times I have taken vehicles to them to be worked on, and they tell me it will take soo long to do the job, and it is never done on time. Every time they end up keeping my vehicle over night, I never get a call letting me know that is the plan. I have to call at the end of the day to find out what is going on, cause I expected to have my own vehicle to be able to get home.
