Hondoworks

My wife and I have been taking our vehicles to Arnold for almost 15 years now. We drive from Dallas to Balch Springs, which isn't all that far, but would drive there from anywhere to get our cars repaired- even for just an oilchange. The reason for this, is that we trust Arnold and his crew over anyone else to work on our cars. He is more than fair with his prices and always tries to minimize costs to the customer. I have been a customer of Hondoworks for probably 10 years and would not hesitate to refer him to anyone. I have in fact sent many people his way and had no complaints and many praises for his work. I have 2 Honda vehicles and won't take them anywhere else. Arnold tries very hard to be reasonable and takes great pride in his reputation. He usually diagnoses the problem in a matter of minutes and I have great confidence in his abilities to do so. His rates are very reasonable and I have never felt he has been anything but honest with me. In total I'd say about 8 or 10 of my co-workers use his services and feel the same way. It is unfortunate kinzojones had a bad experience, but his review of Hondoworks is highly inconsistent with the integrity, character and level of service you can expect from Arnold and the fine people at Hondoworks. I have dealt with Arnold and his crew at Hondoworks for almost 9 years and have found them to be fair, honest and 100% accurate on the problems my 1992 Honda Accord has had over the years. more

Took my 05 Passat to Hondoworks, needed bleed brakes, change oilpan & kill ABS light. He said he would bleed the brakes for $49 and also look at fixing the oilpan. Calls me later and tells me the master cylinder is bad & needs a new one, said he can get it for $200 & install for $150 & he'll fix the oilpan for $200 or install a new one for $150 labor. He did not do ANYTHING, but went ahead and still charged me $49, claiming it was for "diagnostics". I now took this car to Johnny in Cockrell Hill with a new oilpan ONLY. He bled my brakes, fixed the ABS problem and installed new oilpan all for $100 ONLY. Brakes did not need a new master cylinder, there was a leak in the line. So much for Hondoworks $49 diagnostics fee, he gave a false diagnostics and stole my money. I will NEVER recommend Hondoworks to anyone, he does not even deserve 1 star, ZERO is more like it.
