Honda Dealer Alternative

On our way from Oklahoma to Canyon Lake, Texas, my AC started acting up, was barely blowing, and it was getting very warm inside my Honda Pilot. I found Dealer-Alternative on my GPS and stopped by to see if anyone would be able to tell me what the problem was. Steve immediately began looking for the cause of the problem and found that the coils were frozen solid and the filter was quite dirty. He replaced the filter and changed out a fuse and waited until the coils thawed to see if the problem was fixed. He took it for a test drive to see if that corrected the AC problem and all was well. I appreciate his expertise in knowing Honda vehicles, all of his time, and his kindness shown to me as an out of town customer. The service I received was wonderful. I would highly recommend them. more

I wish I could give 10 stars. I feel like Steve is my brother. My daughter is a student at TCU and he is taking care of her car like it is his daughter's. I totally trust him and can't say enough good things. I only hope that if she leaves Fort Worth that I can find another Steve. I have been a customer since he started his own business. It not just the repairs that keep you coming back. It the techs, the service staff, The owner is actually on the premises most of the time. He has a vast depth of knowledge that he loves to share with his customers. I have to first give credit to the boy who really gave us a hand handled the paperwork. He name is Kerri Miller. I am glad someone was actually gave me services to help me prepare my new 2013 CR-V. Other than this, I am here to share my rest of the nightmare like experience with Bernadi Natick Honda. Johnny Fraifer wasn't the first person we greet with. But when we sat own at the dealer start going overage price, that's when Johnny Fraifer came. He did help us on discount with the price and that's all he did to help us. It was helpful in terms of the price of the car I ended up paying, but none of the paperwork he handled, he passed it down to Kerri. It creates a huge confusion and complication when it comes the the end. We were told the onlybway we will gawped that discount was to buy their financial package, which was a loan. This part of the work Jonny passed it down to Manuel Rodrigues. I hope it has nothing to do with racist, because when I try to call and find out some answer to the questions I have Manual never call me back nor picking up the phone call. And the reason I called was because the price we agree for the deal at the end Manuel charged me $500 more. He kept ignoring my calls so I had to drive down there the second time couple days after I signed the contract. But the loan was already approved for that amount. When I got there Manuel told me that the filing office wasn't open on Saturday he can't tell me anything without paperwork., I should come back on Monday. I took the back copy of my contract and all the paperwork listing out ,y other questions, he still refused to try answering. At this point I was extremely exhausted trying to figuring out where the extra $500 came up from? Or it could be some services? I just want to know. However, Manuel has not even try helping me explaining the details on them and yet he shows impatiences on his face trying to convince me leave his office again. At the end, I waited until Monday to find out. The problem was solved, but I felt like I was extremely unwelcome from this business manager mistreated with his attitude. He admit he did the calculation wrong and gave me back the $500 on the day I came to pick up my car. The whole time of being there was unpleasant. I don't recommend this place due to the terrible experience I had there. more

Friendly helpful attitude. For my standard maintenance task, they charged much less than the dealer; I would actually call it a reasonable price whereas the dealers price was insane. They also had a loaner car to help me get to work on time. Dealer Alternative will be my only shop from now on and I've recommended them to many friends already. more

I just walked into their shop and told them my AC/Heat fan was out. The staff immediately knew what the problem was and had my car repaired in under 30 minutes!!!! more

For over 10 years this has been to only Honda shop I have used. Words like friendly, honest, helpful, professional, clean, very competent do not begin to do these folks justice. I can not give them any higher marks! Now they are busy, so don't show up a 3PM expecting to get out in a hour! Call ahead, ask how the schedule is looking. Please give them a test drive, you will not go anywhere else. Convenient to downtown - close to Angelo's. We purchased a used honda for our teenager. A local mechanic looked it over and said it was fine. A month later we take it over to the dealership to find out it needs 3,400.00 worth of repairs. We were shocked. We took it over to the guys at Dealer Alternative after reading the glowing reviews. Not only did they fix it for less, but checked it out very well.. they even recommended new wiper blades. :) Instead of rebuilding basically the entire front and back end of the car they fixed the front end issues it had and did much needed maitanence. The car runs like new.. and for far less. I will NEVER bring my car to a dealership again. more

I used another Honda shop nearby but they didn't know anything about Hybrids & didn't want to learn. Utmost confidence in thei honesty & technical skills on my vehicles. I will not let a dealer touch it. more

I have been with Honda Dealer Alternative for many years and I have never had any problems at all. They have gone out of their way to accommodate me and to take care of my problems. They have saved me money where they could, and once something is fixed, it remains fixed. I have no worries. They also keep up with the condition of the car and they know its needs. I have been a customer at Honda Dealer Alternative going back at least into the early 1990s. I am always extremely pleased with all their work. They make me feel like I am their only customer; they know my name and exactly what I want. After I state what I need, they are good at always saying back to me to make sure that I got across what I need. I love their service, and they are extremely trustworthy. I have had Honda products since the 1990s, and I found out about them through a newspaper article I read. I have been so pleased with them that I have never looked back. Anytime I meet someone with Honda products, I always recommend Steve and his people. Everything has been good. Not only do the office people know my name, but all the mechanics know me by name as well, which is unusual. I take my car there, and my daughter takes her car there as well.
