I am 50 and have experienced many massages over the years as I am quiet experienced myself in deep tissue and I am a heavy weightlifter and need them myself and few can really add...

I am 50 and have experienced many massages over the years as I am quiet experienced myself in deep tissue and I am a heavy weightlifter and need them myself and few can really address the issues properly! Shannon is by no stretch of the imagination the best I have EVER experienced! I mean that in EVERY aspect of performance in the massage arts, attitude and personality! Sorry for the over use of the exclamation but there is no other way to explain not only the experience but the person Shannon is other than multiple exclamations!!!!!!!! I would also comment that I would send ""anybody"" in my family, friends or church to her as she is that incredible!!! more

Treat Yourself 10/6/2011

As part of my healthy life style I have been getting a fantastic deep tissue massage for years. I can't imagine how tense I would be if I did not include this in my health program. It is somehing I do for myself and an investment in my health to deal with the stresses of everyday life. more

I have tried many different massage therapists and Shannon is the only one that knows what she is doing. She really does the ""therapy"" part so well. I feel so much better after each session. more

The Best 8/30/2011

It's all been said in the other reviews. Shannon is fabulous and has saved me many times. The best was when I ended up in the emergency room with what seemed to be appendicitis. So many tests but they could not figure out what the pain was from. The next day Shannon found it and worked on it like crazy. I have never had the pain again. Love her more

I can sleep! 8/29/2011

I have been going to Shannon for a few years now. Before I went to her I was not sleeping well and I always had back pain. Now I can sleep and I rarely have the back pain that always kept me up at night. Without Shannon I do not know where I would be except in pain and cranky. more

Powerfully skilled 8/29/2011

Shannon gets right to the point of my problem areas and works then out with the kind of strength and skill I just didn't expect. She's a ""fixer"" and a natural born ""healer"". I won't lie to you: it hurts at times. She isn't shy about digging deep to get the knots out, stretch tight spots and relax muscles that haven't relaxed in years. What she dose simply works. When I walked out the door I felt like skipping! more

Shannon's ability to find the trouble spot, work magic on it, and then let you get back to normal life has been a blessing at times when stress and muscle fatigue has caused my day to come to a grinding halt. My 14yr old daughter and I have been seeing Shannon for over 3 years. My daughter has chronic pain, and Shannon has always been very careful to talk to her about what is going on every time we are in, determine what best to work on that visit, then professionally and compassionately work to solve those problems the best way she can. It is also great that Shannon has so many solutions in her back pocket - my daughter looks forward to her ""cupping"" every time she goes! Shannon's deep tissue massage keeps my back feeling good even though I spend 10+ hours a day at a computer. That has been a lifesaver! She has such a kind and caring attitude that we have come to know her as our friend as well as our massage therapist. Thanks Shannon! more

My husband and I have both felt great physical relief and improved ""well being"" since we found Shannon over 3 years ago. After two car accidents, 10 years of chiropractors, physical therapist programs, accupuncture and spinal injections, I feel I can qualify the measure of results very honestly. Years and a variety of massage techniques sent me searching for a massage therapist who gets results. I was impressed with Shannon from ""day one""! Amazing! 8/25/2011

I've never enjoyed or felt like I got anything much from massages before going to Shannon but she has thoroughly convinced me of the benefit. Every time I go, I leave feeling significantly better. Areas I didn't even realize were knotted feel good again! She has an amazing knowledge of the body and is extremely effective at working out issues. She is also very friendly and relaxing to be around. I would highly recommend her to everyone! more

Nothing Like a Good Massage 8/19/2011

I found Shannon about 3 years ago, and I have not gone to anyone else for a massage since! I started going to her more regularly during my pregnancy and she saved me from my chronic back and hip pain. She has a great knowledge of the body and truly understands what each person needs to make them feel whole again. I would highly recommend Shannon for an effective and healing deep tissue massage. more

Ready to run again! 8/19/2011

Have had some nagging running injuries that had me questioning whether I should give it up. I've had many massages that did little more that make me relaxed for a day. Shannon's deep tissue massage worked out so many kinks and knots I didn't know I had. I am now running more relaxed and comfortable. I'm back on the road again with a 1/2 marathon in my sites. more

No more pain!! 8/17/2011

I was in a car accident many years ago and had horrible back pain. I have been to many massage therapists and chiropractors, not one was able to make me feel better. I was beginning to lose hope when I just happened to find Shannon at the Honalee Day Spa and have been going to her once a week and I have no back pain! I have not felt this good in years!! When I saw shannon I thought, i'd be in another massage that was just ok..... BUT NO OMG this was amazing, this woman is so passionate about what she does and truelly has healing powers!
