Best Movers I have Ever had 2/15/2011

My family and I moved from Charleston, SC to Lexington, KY and we decided to use a mover in Lexington that my co-worker had recommended. Hometown Movers was the one he recommended and we are so glad that we did! We moved from a very large home and they packed everything quickly and with great care. They put my family and I at ease because we knew we were dealing with professionals. We arrived in our new home with a great transition and it is because of them. I would recommend Hometown Movers again and again, and if I ever need to move again, they will be the only ones that I will call. Jamie and his crew were incredible! more

This place was great. Really good rates and great movers. Was extremely impressed with the men and their ability to get my move done quickly, while taking good care of my furniture. I will use them again as well as recommend them to my friends and family. more

Wonderful Company 1/17/2011

I used Hometown Movers this weekend, and they were extremely professional and polite. I had a guy named Otis, and he made me feel like he really cared about my move. It means alot to have someone taking care of your things when you are doing a stressful move. The movers worked really fast, and this company was the best priced moving company I could find. Please tell your friends to use this place. Hometown Movers is a wonderful company that I highly recommend. more

BEST MOVERS EVER!! 1/17/2011

Hometown is the best moving company ever! I have used several movers before, but I have never encountered movers that ACTUALLY care about my furniture, and these guys move really fast! I was worried when they were the cheapest priced moving company around, but found out they are worth way more than they charge! Thanks Hometown, everyone I know will quickly learn how great your guys are! Thanks again Hometown! more

Save your money 5/21/2009

I moved from a 2nd floor apt to a third floor apt in the same complex. It took 6.5 hours for them to complete the move. I moved here from Philly, while there I moved from a 14th floor apt to a 10th floor apt in different buildings mile or so apart while fighting for the use of a small elevator in one building, and it was done in 3 hours. Hometown charged me $500 for this move, and actually tried to charge me for thier lunch time and I bought lunch for them! Pros: very polite movers Cons: 6.5 hours to move a one bedroom apt more
