This large, vinyl-deco restaurant pleases every palate with its cheerful, Heinz-57 approach to food. The 3 hot buffet tables offer self-serve meat, poultry, seafood and potatoes, macncheese and stuffing depending on the evening (check website). An additional soup/condiment table offers an alternative to the 2 salad bars; a beverage station and dessert bar round out the menu. Think decent cafeteria food - hot stuff is hot, cold stuff is cold, and ice cream or bread pudding from the oven can finish the meal. Potatoes are like glue, fried foods taste sour many evenings. Prepare for a 20+ minute wait for seating evenings/weekends. Definitely family-friendly.
Pros: everyone's happy, kids welcome, friday seafood nite
Cons: bland tasting entrees, food sits until eaten, avoid fried dishes
