I thought I'd give a different spin on my experience with Homestead Mortgage and Vanessa Rodas. I had a very different experience than the other person who posted. I applied for a mortgage and was accepted months ago. The problems with my experience were far from being Vanessa's fault- it was first finding a property and then closing on it. The escrow officer was a complete idiot. Even though, it was not Vanessa's job to get my house closed and do the job of the person at title, she diligently tried everything she could to push it through. The customer service I received from Vanessa and her company was phenomenal. I cannot thank her, Tiffany or her husband (who made repairs on my home so it could pass inspection) enough. Not only is Vanessa a very cool person, she knows her job and does it well- with the best interest of the customer. I never felt ignored or neglected. I will recommend them to all I know who are looking to buy a home as I know that they will be well taken care of. more

I would never do business with Vanessa Rodas or anyone within this organization. They were so helpful when we were looking for a home but once we found one and needed to close in 30 days they failed. I would send docs and 2 weeks later she would tell me there was a problem with the docs I sent. She was super unorganized and lied many times that everything was fine only to come back and say opps its not... She said everything was good for closing then the Saturday before the Monday that docs were to be sent to title she said there were many problems and contracts she didn’t have. Lack of communication from her to who even reviews the paperwork supposedly someone else in the office!
