We've rented from Crager and Bartles for over 2 1/2 years, never missing a payment. Trying to get them to repair major issues is like pulling teeth. Long and short of it, their negligence has caused rotting wood under kitchen sink from massive leak that they hadnt addressed for nearly 3 months. Begged and pleaded with them to get water softener fixed. Never happened. Because of that, septic tank overflowed thru our bathroom and shower and into ductwork leaving us with no heat for 3 weeks and raw sewage STILL under house. They have no intentions on doing anything about it. Last straw was popping and buzzing thru electricty in kitchen ceiling and still,.. they do nothing. This isnt a property Management Company. They are bookkeepers who take your money and that is IT! I will shout from the highest mountain and warn anyone who dares rent thru Crager and Bartles that you are going to sacrifice not only your sanity, but your health as well. As a matter of fact, I am suing them in small claims court in a week. They'll hear my complaints then, wont they? Pros: are you serious?! I had bad experience with this company. The problems are: return phone calls delay, change without notice, over charge, etc. I highly not recommended this company although it is the few property managers at plainfiled-avon area. more

Poor communication. It is so hard to hold the agent. They never pick up the phone, never return call or email in same day, you have to call 4-5 times for someone call you back 2-3 day later. \r They over charge you (unnecessary cost) without notice, never follow owner's requirement. Be prepare for pain on the neck if you choice this company and wish you good luck because you really need it. more
