Home of the Sparrow Inc.

Home of the Sparrow Inc. is a 501(c) 3 community service organization serving members in McHenry, IL and the surrounding areas. Celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2012 we have been in keeping with our mission to provide hope, opportunity and support to homeless women and children. Our goal is to reduce homelessness for women and children through creating community partnerships to bring these women long lasting self-sufficiency.

At Home of the Sparrow women are provided with the assistance and housing they need to support themselves during their transitional process. We provide family, individual and child counseling as needed. Our goal is to help the women who enter our doors become self-reliant.

At Home of the Sparrow we either offer services directly or through collaboration with partner agencies. Together our common goal is to provide a wide spectrum of services for residents as they gain their self-confidence and self-reliance.
