Home of the Hits 4/8/2006

This is one of the better independent record stores I’ve ever been too. They have a nice selection of new and used cds here. The prices are very reasonable. They even have some rare recordings that are tough to find, for example singles, imports and b-sides. They also sell tickets here to many shows that are playing in the area. more

Great Store! 8/21/2005

Home of the Hits on Elmwood Ave in Buffalo is an excellent store! They have all of the hard to find CDs. If you are looking for something that is not mainstream, odds are that they carry it here. The prices are very comparable to the larger chain stores. You can tell that the staff here really knows their music. more

Nice collection of CDs! 8/20/2005

If you can't find your CDs at the big chains, it means you have a not so common taste in music and that also means that this is the shop for you. It is located in a house on Elmwood and they have a huge collection of music CDs, and LP records. The staff is very knowledgeable and they know a lot about music and stuff. They are sure to find what you are looking for and they also do special ordering. The prices are decent, so be sure to check this place out next time you are in the area. more

A Great Record Store 8/19/2005

Home of the Hits is an excellent alternative record store offering a variety of hard to find CD’s, DVD’s and LP’s. Special ordering is also available. They have a nice collection used CD’s and LP’s as well as a knowledgeable and sometime helpful staff. The store offers some mainstream music, but if you want the latest Jay-Z, you might want to go somewhere else. more

My favorite record store! 8/18/2005

This is the place I go to buy Cd's! You wouldn't believe the selection they have. Their prices are reasonable and if your looking for something that isn't mainstream, this is definitely the place to go. They also have vinyl if your looking for special albums. Give Home of the Hits a try next time your driving down Elmwood! You'll be impressed! more

A great selection that large chains don't offer 8/8/2005

I have gone here whenever I am trying to find music that isn't in the large chains. They have a great selection, and the employees are definitely a good source of information about music. (Good hiring choices). It is in a house on elmwood that gives in a nice homelike feel, and they sell a variety of other paraphenalia. If you have some unique musical tastes of favorite bands you can probably find the music here. The prices are good too. more

Greatest music store in WNY 7/22/2005

Old house turned into a shop right in the heart of the Elmwood arts strip. Thousands of brand new, and used cds at incredible prices. You can find just about ANY artist you are looking for. They will help you find anything, or else order it for you. very knowledgable staff. great selection of records and DVDs as well. Very nice people, awesome selection, great atmosphere. more
