My sister decided to use this florist for her wedding, based on the estimate she was given. We just needed a few items -- bouquets, boutinerres, and corsages, so we didn't think it would be a big deal, but Home Store made it one of the most stressful things about her wedding. Three days before the event, the florist called my mother to tell her that the actual cost would be more than double the original estimate -- blaming it on the prom and Mother's Day being so close to the wedding, even though she'd been notified about the date months in advance before giving us the original estimate. The day of the wedding, my mother showed up to pick up the flowers at the pre-arranged time -- only to find out that the flowers weren't ready. The florist said she'd run out of pink ribbon and needed to go find more. My mother returned an hour later -- the order was still not ready! Finally, the florist offered to bring them to the church...she showed up with the flowers 30 minutes before the ceremony as the guests were already arriving -- then proceeded to ask my Mom for payment -- even though she was in the middle of helping my sister get ready. In the end, she ended up paying what we would've paid at a more established florist, with many more headaches. This should've been a fairly simple event to handle, so I would not recommend the use of this florist for any big event.
Pros: After all the headaches, the bouquets were still pretty
Cons: Horrible service, estimate was more than doubled just days before the wedding
