Home Services At The Home Depot

After spending nearly $10,000 with Home depot, in a months time. My Son-in-Law was told he could not purchase anything and was locked out....He and my daughter waited to find out what was going on?? And the Clerks they delt with didn't have answers or any knowledge as to why. They continued to wait and finally were told they ""They could not shop there for 90 days.""....And it was due to having a few returns with no reciept....However they were given In Store Credit, and put the money right back IN THE STORE.....My Son-in-Law is a respectable young man and a General Contractor......Needless to say, He will not be doing business with Any Home Depot in the future. And they lost a Great Contractor who's busy year around and makes pretty big purchases... Lowes here they come! more

love the store, the people there are all great selection wonderful. But it has happened twice now, i get a bunch of keys cut (I am a realtor), then when out at the homes not just one does not work but twice, all 3 copies did not work. when i put the keys on top of each other there is a little added bump here or there. the guy even said last time, keep your receipt in case they don't work! so now i go to ace hardware on the plateau, I have gone there on and off for 18 years! and never had a key that did not work. more

I have an issue with my $6000 carpet that I purchased from the Bellevue, WA Home Depot March 24th, 2005. The carpet was on back-order at that time, but then came in early, and was installed in April 2005. After a few months, the carpet started turning black, not in a particular area or spot, but everywhere ? especially where the carpet was next to the hardwood flooring ? so from the hardwood floor to the living room, the dining room, the family room, and the hallway to the bedrooms. I had the carpets cleaned, and initially took out the black, which was spreading across the carpet. But then the black streaking reoccurred, and kept spreading. I had the carpets cleaned again, but the after a couple months, the black returned. My gut instinct was there was no ?stainmaster? in my stainmaster carpet. It seemed odd to me that the carpet was on backorder, then came early, and then started staining and turning black.\r \r I called the Bellevue Home Depot for two months before some more

I wanted to find out if they rented a certain item before driving to the store - this number does not get you to a tool rental department - no such department is given as an option. Grrrrr! more

I have rented many tools from Bellevue Home Depot, sanders, soil compactor, drywall hoist, and more. I have always found the equipment in good shape, the service excellent and the prices fair.\r \r Highly Recommended more

Since the smaller hardware near us closed, we have to go to Home Depot. This can be very frustrating as it is hard to find things and no one is very helpful - even after you find someone who works here. \r \r They don't carry a lot of things any longer. We bought a shower liner last year for a new bathroom and went to get another for another bathroom...no such luck. And the tile selection (which we had to do instead) was awful. What horrid colors! \r \r But worse are the Home Services. We have used them twice (and why twice instead of once, I just don't know). Once for a fence....they were ok, but they left without checking the latches! I have very large, purebred dogs and this ended up with me having over 600 lbs of dog - and one very loved, expensive dog who wasn't mine - running loose. That's poor service. \r \r But the real clincher was when we ordered vinyl flooring through Home Depot. The service men arrived and I was so excited about my new floor, before they even brought in the mater more
