Home Depot Store 4650

This store is well stocked, well organized, and the prices are generally better than their closest competitor Lowe's. However, the store feels like a huge warehouse. It's more dimly lit, the feel of the store is cold and, and the sheer size of the store is overwhelming. The Lowe's is about the same size but for some reason (must be layout and the look of the signs) it doesn't feel as daunting. The staff is helpful though... when you can find someone who works there. more

It's right next door to the Wal-Mart SuperCenter so it's easy to find... If you visit this store and visit the Lowes down the street pay attention to the different styles of the 2 atmospheres. Home Depot is more do it yourself. The people are unfriendly, but they don't go out of their way either. Where with the Lowes, they practically swarm on you with "Hi" and "How are you?". Which one is better is a personal choice on how you want to be treated when shopping. Sometimes I just want to go in and be left alone to wander around and "figure out" what I need. Other times the attention is nice. The 2 stores are pretty competitive and stock most things. Some lines are better at one or the other. For fencing I like what Home Depot has. For flooring, I prefer the Lowes. more

This Home Depot is pretty much like any other. Any time I've shopped there the staff is friendly and helpful, the store is well organized, and shopping there is usually a productive experience. As with any Home Depot the sheer size of the building and the quantity of items to choose from can be overwhelming and time consuming. But if you ask someone who works there to help you find something they usually know where it is. Also, this Home Depot is conveniently located next to Wal-Mart. more
