Report on Home Care Assistance 6/29/2013

I recently was employed by this company and found a patient left by an employee of theirs in BM and a mess in the morning and a welt and abrasion on his right hip due to not being checked once through the third shift. He was getting 24 hour care with rotating caregivers. The other caregiver had recently dropped him, also hurting herself, and this was a few days after he was bedridden from it. I reported the incident , and the caregiver responsible for it then threatened me for reporting it. I had been told I was the best caregiver there for him and had "done a lot for him, " yet since not employed by that company, all communication with the company has been "cut off" which began with the incident that happened and the threats from the aide who left him with welts. The caregiver who dropped him and also hurt herself is understandable, but he otter who left a welt and abrasion ...and threatening after that should have been reported to the state and made to know the consequences, especially since she had no conscience to doing the right thing ...if she had she would not have been capable of giving threats after that. I also found that after this incident and my reporting it being the "best assist he more
