I've been to this store three times and each time I have experienced terrible customer service. This is a shame because I would be willing to pay the higher prices offered by this store in return for feeling like I'm supporting a ""mom and pop"" hardware store offering convenient customer service. My experience is the opposite and i have no doubt it would be a nightmare if I had a problem with merchandise purchased from here. more

Awesome hardware store 4/26/2009

I had to pick up some fiberboard for a small project I'm working on and I was getting ready to drive 40 min from Ballard to the nearest Home Depot or Lowe's. Instead I remembered seeing this little place on Nickerson, so I went there to see if they had what I needed. The place was really awesome, they seem to have just about everything. The people working there were very nice and helpful. They even helped me load my fiberboard. In short a great local place that saved me a lot of time and driving. I highly recommend it. Great selection of stuff that I need, when I need it. Of course, I went there to buy hardware, not to judge their political views. Freedom of speech and great hardware stores... What a country ! more
