I have been taking my 3 year old GSD mix Wolfgang here since he was a puppy and we've never had a bad experience. He loves going and always leaves happy and tired. The staff is very friendly and you can tell how much they care about the dogs. The half-day pricing is good for a maximum of 6 hours, which is great, and I can check in on him using the webcams while I'm at work. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for daycare! more

I first took my dog here because it was close to work...after just the initial visit, we wouldn't go anywhere else! The staff are great, both with people and puppy clients alike! The early opening and later closing make it even more convenient and the webcam is a nice feature too. They really seem to get to know the dogs and anytime you check out the webcam, there's always staff in the scene playing with the pups. more

Worst Place Ever 9/28/2011

These kids at Camp Bow Wow are terrible. I am also the mama to a very energetic and amazing dog. All they could do was find everything that was wrong with him. Telling me he has too much energy/!! Well that's called being a DOG! I would not recommend this place to anyone. I would recommend anywhere else on the planet! I loved them at first because they could wear out my puppy - but then my dog was attacked and they told me nothing about it - and did not expel the dog who attacked my dog because ""they had no idea what dog did it or when it happened."" That to me is NOT keeping my dog safe, let alone the dogs they allow in this place. The dog bite ended up costing me a lot of money in vet bills as well because it got infected. The bite was on his eye and he could have lost his sight! And all they could tell me is they had no idea what or when it happened! I am very disgusted in Camp Bow Wow in Boulder and I will tell anyone who will listen just how terrible they are. Take your dog anywhere else but here. They don't care about your dog - they just care about your money. It's a franchise. They also have no limit to how many dogs are allowed on any given day, AND they obviously allow aggressive dogs. I know the difference between an injury from playing rough and an actual bite. These KIDS talked to me like I am stupid. It always smells of urine like they don't clean either. This place is terrible! I am not gonna post where I take my dog now because I don't want everyone to start going there once they realize how awful CBW is, but it is very refreshing for someone to tell you how awesome your dog is for being a dog and not telling you he has too much energy. Isn't that the point of Doggie Day Care??? Isn't that just part of being a dog??? I hate Camp Bow Wow. more

Best dog spot! 4/8/2011

My pup loves this place! But who wouldn't want to romp all day with friends? I have only used their daycare service but I've been very happy with it. My favorite thing is the ""camper cams"" that allow me to check in and see how my furry buddy is doing. They even have an iPhone app with the cams! (read: decreased productivity). From watching the cams I know that there is always someone in the play areas with the dogs supervising so I know my guy is safe all day. They also do interviews so all the dogs in daycare have been screened. I'd definitely board my dog here if ever necessary because I know he will be extremely well taken care of. My dog comes home exhausted from a day at Camp Bow Wow and is usually tired the whole next day. Can't recommend this place enough. more

Great day care, not so sure about boarding 2/7/2011

My dog loves the day care at Camp Bow Wow, and I am very comfortable sending him there for the day, but not for boarding. I just found out that they are kept in their kennels for most of Sat. and Sun. and are put in their kennels at 7pm every day, and not let out until the next day. I don't want to spend $40 per night to have my dog stuck in a kennel for two days, and I would like him to have one last trip outside before bed. more

Great alternative to a day in the crate 10/26/2010

Mojo has been going to Camp Bow Wow since he was 4 months old. He absolutely LOVES it! We started taking him there twice a week and he always comes home tired and happy. The staff is wonderful and because of the web cams we can check on our little guy anytime during the day. more

He's a dog again! 10/9/2010

The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Within our first two visits, they knew my dog on sight. They helped him get over the anxiety (he thought he was at the vet) and even helped him come out of his shell and learn to play with other dogs. The prices are competitive with the area and the experience alone makes the drive from Longmont worthwhile. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for a place your dog can cut loose and have fun when you can't be with him! more

Jason loves Camp! 5/31/2007

My dog Jason has been going to Camp since 2002 and still loves every visit! He has his playmantes that go to Camp and gets a special treat at the end of the day since he started as a foster dog there. I adopted him after a friend who was a client told me about him. He is the love of my life! And when Jason spends the night at Camp he always gets to stay in his own cabin that he has stayed in since I adopted him! I like that they let him go outside whenever he wants and they give him lots of love - I see it on the web cams...everyone in the office loves to watch Jason on the cams with me! Pros: Web cams and Foster Program more

Awesome Place for Pups! 5/31/2007

Our dog Ray had such a great time - the Camp staff took really good care of our lab and made sure he had lots of fun. He gets so excited everytime we round the corner to go to Camp! I watch him on the web cams throughout the day and he has a blast in the pools and outside on the play equipment. He is pooped out when he gets home - and crashes. I love the stafff and so does Ray. Pros: Great staff and live web cams Cons: I can't play at Camp with him! more

Happy (and tired!) dog!! 3/24/2007

I boarded my terrier pup at Camp Bow Wow for 10 days in February, and I know he had a wonderful time (every time I went on the Internet and looked for him on the Camp web-cameras, he was running around with the other dogs, and looked like he was having a blast)! This was the first time I had boarded him at a kennel where he played all day, and what a great way to get him into shape! When I left him at Cottonwood Kennels (last year) and he stayed in a run all the time, he was nervous and very clingy when I picked him up. Not this time! I think he's more confident and more out-going than before. I was sorry to read about the dog with the laceration - I found the staff at Camp Bow Wow to be very caring and helpful (I called a couple of times to be sure he was eating, and they all knew about his ""hiding some for later"" habit !!). I would highly recommend Camp BOw Wow for anyone who isn't overprotective and who really understands that dogs LOVE to be dogs ! Pros: very clean, smells good, very safe and well maintained Cons: since dogs play together, not good for nervous, over-protective owners more

Not Recommended 2/9/2007

I would not recommend using Camp Bow Wow for day care or boarding. Staff does not seem qualified or trained to take care dogs. The contract states they will seek medical care for your dog if anything were to happen. However, my dog was brought out to me with a substantial amount of dried bl00d on his ear and head after being boarded there for over a week. The young girl said she didn't know when or what had happened, and that she could not see any cut. When I looked he had a large laceration behind his ear, and was clearly affected by the situation. I took him directly to the hospital and he required stitches and antibiotics for a week. They took no responsibility for the accident or the lack of treatment. more
