We did this our first evening and it was the best thing we did while there. I was worried due to some very high swells around the island. But the captain, Kim, seemed to know the waters well. We had some bounce on the way out, enough to give it some excitement, but never scary. We ended up achoring in a protected area for dinner which was simple, tasty, and fresh. Perfect for a boat dinner. The rest of the crew, Jeff and Randal where extrememly attentive and always looking to see if you need anything while staying out of the way as they tended to the boat. The cruise back was much smoother and we were able to enjoy a great sunset. Things i highly recomend doing is going to one of the front tips of the boat as the view up there is spectacular. There was plenty of food and drinks (with and w/o alcohol) and the crew makes sure you never want. If you get set up with this crew: Kim, Jeff, and Randal, you are in for a real treat. Thanks guys! btw... they had some of those wristband thingies for motion sickness on board, so ask for them at the get go if you need them.
Pros: Excellent Service, Great Boat, Great crew! All around great experience!
Cons: as with any sea based activity, possibility of getting seasick.
