We just got our new piano and we're so excited I want to tell the world. LOL We were searching Craigslist for something used and kept being disappointed every time we went to look. A lot of old pianos out there. Someone of them are shined up to look new but still felt kind of funny when you play them. We looked at some in garages, warehouses, living rooms, didn't feel comfortable with any of them. We decided to look at used pianos from piano stores and still weren't too impressed. Really didn't want a 30 or 40 year old Yamaha or Kawai and that's what we kept seeing everywhere. We wanted something newish. We went into Hollywood Piano looking for a used piano and the owner showed us a new Hardman. We never heard of it before, but he explained it came from a factory that was in joint venture with Kawai. We found a brand new piano that plays like a dream ( the way I expected the used Yamaha and Kawais we looked at to be, but were not) for what we were prepared to pay for a used one. Couldn't be happier. Got to mention that this by far was the most professional presentation we received while shopping. We really learned a lot about pianos there. When we get our grand piano this is the place we're going back to.
