Worst than a bad Hollywood movie 6/1/2010

starting with the more than unfriendly staff, the cleanliness is horrible. More often than not you will change in your car, because the cleaning people are mopping the old dirty mop during gym rush hours, and you find yourself sweaty trying not to catch a cold, and locked outside the locker room... The locker room smells really bad due to the toilets being inside and the many bodybuilders on high protein diet sharing the smells of their bio... And leaving the toilet like after a party. On the treadmills you will find the AC vents right above your head so that you can fully inhale the germs from the almost never changed or cleaned AC filters. YOu will be able to catch a "freeze cold " when you sweat and the AC kicks in without warning. And if you ever try to cancel your membership, even after 15 years, the manager Tammy will call out on you all kinds of "30 days notice, and cancellation fees " yes, even after 15 years of membership, as reported by some... I went here, there prices were so so expensive, they had an awful selection of beds,the place did not seem clean the floors were dity, just an overall bad bad experiance, I do not recommend this place Pros: rude staff, and dirty Cons: everything!!!! more

finally a real gym 12/10/2009

This place is the real deal, it is not fuffy or gay like so many other places, it is a real gym for real lifters. You sign a one year contract and it cost more than those other annoying gyms, that are just meat markets, this place is worth the extra cash, plus its 24 hours, you can beat it. Pros: real gym, for real gym goers more

not crowded but rude staff 10/15/2008

I've been a member there for over 2 years. The upside is it's a ghost town. The downside is the staff is rude. I've lost my card a few times (keep in mind I've been going there for over 2 years nearly every day) and they insist on charging me $10 for a lost card fee every time (I pay $55 a month too). I brought my gf there to check it out one day and they charged her $10 just to check it out and work out with me (they never even offered to show her around). I guess now their latest policy is that if you lose your card they won't even let you in unless you cough up $10. I really can't recommend a place that has such a small membership base, knows your name, knows you've paid on time each month for years (auto deduct from bank) yet insists on this strange card policy. I'm so glad I cancelled. Equipment is okay. Bathrooms are pretty gross. Staff really does suck and when they are busy once and awhile you will have a hard time finding parking. more

Not crowded 2/22/2008

The BEST thing about this place is that it has no crowd. The second best thing is that it's open 24 hours and in the wee morning hours, definitely, isn't crowded.\r \r This place is old, but has what you need. It's not first class, but I rated it high because of the conveniences it has. There's a parking lot right behind it and it's always a breeze in and out operation.\r \r Their equipment is fine, just not brand new. They also have tanning beds and a boxing gym. The price is okay, I think i paid 40 bucks a month....but you may be able to find a special. more
