I make a stop in this pet store every chance I can get to the mall just to make a brief visit with the pups. I am outraged at the price they attempt to sell their puppies, considering the amount of animals needing a good home. Some of the puppies are allowed to roam the narrow hallway outside of their cages at times, while some stay locked in their small metal crates while prospectors stare at them. Each time I have visted, there is urine or feces on the floor where they are expected to play, sleep, etc. Upon my last visit, I almost caved and purchased another pet needing a home (I have 2 former homeless pets currently) until I saw the ""sale"" price.....$800!!!! Yes, $800 for a puppy from a pet store who is in need of a ""good home"". Unfortunately it is ultimately the dogs who suffer. You can adopt a pet in need at a local shelter for $50 or you can spend almost $1000 at a pet store. You still then have to pay all the remaining expenses such as vaccinations, neutering, food, preventatives, etc. I feel so sad for these animals. If I had an extra $5000 sitting around, I'd go purchase them all, then adopt them out to good homes at a ""reasonable"" cost.
Pros: location
Cons: overpriced
