I became a patient of Dr. Vito's as a result of the recommendations on this site - and am happy to add to his accolades! \r I've struggled with bifocal contacts and glasses for over two years. Dr. V. took the time to demonstrate and explain why I've been experiencing problems- rather than just prescribe me lenses and give me ""generic"" reasons why I have had problems . (i.e., ""you just need to get use to them""), as my other eye care center has done. \r \r As a curious and intelligent adult I appreciated the time Dr. Vito spent with me explaining the issues and time spent to fine tune my prescriptive needs. Can't recommend me highly enough!\r \r The check in and out process went very smoothly, and at the end of my visit I was informed of my future copayment if I elect to go with the contact lens prescribed. \r more

I have been a patient of Dr. Vito's for several years now. He has a great bedside manner. I was not the best about taking my contacts out like I should, he didn't make me feel like a bad person about it. He worked with me (after cracking some jokes about it being like wearing dirty underwear on my eyes) and came up with a reasonable goal to heal my eyes. When I was able to wear contacts again, he very patiently, tried several different materials until we found one that worked for me. Another person had commented on how he always remembered conversations from previous visits and that is SO true. It always amazes me that he has such a great sense of detail, even on a personal level. The staff is always nice and personable. I have never had an issue not getting an appointment in a timely fashion. I am always in favor of supporting a local small business. After moving to Fuquay Varina, we still refuse to change eye doctors. Even when financially my family was on a strict budget, I couldn't find a less expensive place to go. I've been a patient of Dr. Vito for nearly ten years now and every time I've been in he and his staff have been friendly and helpful. They give honest advice and excellent care, use recent technologies to increase accuracy and patient comfort, and charge extremely reasonable fees for their products and services. Dr. Vito always makes a point to ensure that he's giving the correct prescription. Also, no matter how long it's been since my last visit, he remembers conversations and asks how things I mentioned on previous visits are going. I appreciate this clinic so much that I continued to drive out to Holly Springs for eye exams even when I was living in Durham near Southpoint for a couple of years and working in Chapel Hill. I had done some work for Dr. Vito on the same day that my wife and daughter had gone to another eye Dr. in Fuquay. That Dr. had way over charged, and had not givin them any personal service at all. I brought my daughter back to him for a contact exam, and he was extremely patient while she was getting used to her contacts. I highly recommend Dr. Vito, and his staff!
