camp ground 2/13/2007

my wife and I live in Canada but I'm from the asheboro area.We came in May 06 for vacation and my first visit back in several years.while it was still early in the season the campground was in good shape people were friendly at the camp and we met some people who have a trailer there i believe year round were nice and offered us fire wood any time we wanted it and visit for coffee in the morning.even gave us birthday cake for there nephew birthday cake.the tent site was very large and shady only bad thing it was all dirt ground and hard as a rock but was fine to bad the weather sucked as it rained at the end of the trip for 2 days.looking to come back in June 06 more

Good family campground 11/30/2005

Holly Bluff Campground is a small campground in Asheboro, NC. The are close to the NC Zoo in Asheboro (which is a great place to take the kids for a day while camping). The have a swimming pool, snack bar, gift shop, fishing, and church services. This is a nice campground for a weekend getaway. They have reasonable rate all year long also. more
