Beware of the north end of Laurel Lake. Do not stay for more than a day, never overnight. Vehicles will be vandalized. This park is not safe. Such a shame that the reputation of a beautiful lake is being tarnished by the local criminals. Law enforcement is non responsive. more

Holly Bay is a perfect place for fun. 8/19/2005

When I went to Laurel Lake a week ago, it was to my suprise that Holly Bay Marina was reasonably priced. Holly Bay is located an hour and a half from Lexington. The marina has several rentals from fishing boats, pontoon boats to houseboats. The staff is always courteous and helpful. There is never a problem when you are trying to page another boat. I enjoy my time at Holly Bay and hopefully others will too! more
