Holland Studios did my wedding pictures and I could not be happier with the results. The owner, Eric has an amazing ability to quickly take numerous pictures and make you feel at ease in front of the camera. I am the type of person who has shyed away from pictures my entire life and within minutes of being in front of Eric, I was relaxed, smiling, happy, and confident that he was capturing my husband and I in the best possible way. \r \r He did the perfect blend of posed pictures and what he calls ""documentary style"" pictures. He also has a method of doing family pictures that makes it quick and painless. \r \r Eric put together a slideshow of the wedding within a day or two after the festivities and it really captured the feel of the day. Friends who were unable to make the wedding who saw the slideshow said it brought them to tears and they felt like they were there. \r \r I can't really convey how amazing Eric is when he is taking pictures. To have someone be able to relax the subjects so easily but at the same time be taking so many pictures and have them turn out beautifully is quite a feat. \r \r Our second photographer was Roberta and she was extremely calm and warm. I wanted two photographers to capture the ""getting ready"" pictures as well as each of our faces in the ""first look"" and was very pleased with Roberta. \r \r We initially went with another photographer in the Portland area to do our engagement pictures and were less than thilled with the results. He was very nice but the pictures just weren't great. I am so thankful we decided to change photographers and went with Holland Studios because they gave us amazing pictures that will last a lifetime. \r more

I have used Holland Studios on several occasions........from a wedding to personal portraits. Each occasion has been a memorable experience whether it be the initial appointment, the occasion, the viewing of the proofs or the finished product. I have found them to be friendly, focused and one has the feeling that your event is the most important thing on their calendar.........that is extraordinary in today's busy world. I may have gone in with a preconceived ideas but they have always taken it to a higher level than ever expected. They listen to your ideas, make suggestions but never give you the feeling that they are trying to move you in a direction that isn't really what you want. I have highly recommended Holland Studios over the years and have always heard extraordinary comments about their service, creativity and quality. Some may say that they are on the higher end cost wise but when you look at the final product it is well worth the money.........you're truly making an investment in documenting your life! In the long term cost is forgotten.......what is important is that you have something so special and so beautiful to look at and share for many years to come! Eric Holland and his staff are not only charming and delightful people to deal with, but their photos are exceptional. They spent alot of time( no rushing away), they listened well to requests and followed through. They added creativeness to our photos that we had never thought of and are fantastic.
