Nasty! 4/6/2010

Dirty hallways, carpetting in the rooms was pretty moist, was kond of nasty. I hated my stay, and will never be back to this hotel! more

I will not stay at this place. The only reason I am giving a 2 star not 1 star rating is because they refunded my money. I just hated the whole area, restaurant was bad, rooms smelled nasty. Never willi stay there again. more

Unacceptable! 2/24/2010

Will never stay there again! I just discovered this site, and will try to review as many establishments as possible. I stay in that area for business quite a bit, therefore very familiar with different hotels in the area. I stayed at this place once and will never go back. Don't recommend you go there either. If I start describng what is wrong with this place, i think i will spend ll day typing an essay. more

Holiday Inn is great 8/11/2009

Great Service meets Great Value! 4/5/2008

I am a frequent business traveler and I usually stay at mid-scale properties, such as Holiday Inns. I have always enjoyed my stays at the 59 location but stopped going due to their pro-longed renovation period. The hotel has been around for about 20 years and it really needed some TLC. I began staying at the Hampton down the street. During my last stay they were booked up so I had no choice but to go back to the Holiday Inn. I was hesistant to stay there again but I decided to give them another chance. I am glad that I did. The front desk really exceeded my expectations. I was given a welcome letter and treated very nicely throughout my entire stay. My guest room was beyond that I expected from a Holiday Inn. The bed was comfortable, furniture was clean and up to date. My entire experience was wonderful and I'm back as a loyal Holiday Inn customer! I definitely recommend this property! Pros: Service, room comfort, and price. more
