Checked in for the last night of a three night trip. First room was too noisy. I could hear the neighbor's music like there was no wall. I asked for a different room. Got settled in and the neighbors started in. I turned up the television, they turned up their conversation. The second room also had coffee but no coffee maker, the telephone on the desk didn't work, and after a little bit of time I began to itch like there were bugs in the room. (The clue should have been the dead cricket on the floor when I walked in.)
I called the desk and was hot. He offered to ask my neighbors to quiet down. I didn't see that happening. Did he think they didn't realize they were in a hotel?
I took a shower and was going to leave but I paid nearly $150 for the room so I went to the desk and asked for a quiet, clean room in which I could sleep. I'm on the second floor hoping to get a good night's sleep before finishing my 1700 mile drive tomorrow.
If you HAVE to stay here, get a coupon book from one of the rest stops on the way, you can save nearly fifty dollars a night. I wouldn't stay here again.
