nice hotel 8/22/2006

i stayed in this place while in the area on business. it is a nice hotel with helpful employees. the rooms are large and have a nice bed, desk, free wireless Internet and a fitness room. the fitness room is tiny and the tread mill was broken when i went, but it was nice to have the room available. they have a nice continental breakfast with cereal, pastries, bagels, coffee and juice. its a convenient place to stay more

Free continental Breakfast 8/22/2006

The rooms are a good size huge bed, dresser, closet, TV desk and couch. The rooms are very clean. We were able to change from a one night to two night stay easily. They have a gym but the only 3 pieces of equipment. They have a free complementary breakfast that is good. The price range is 120-140. It is close to restaurants and stores. Parking is underneath or to the side of the building. more

Better than most Holiday Inn's 8/21/2006

I stayed here on the recommendation of a coworker. It is reasonably priced for the area. Although getting rooms can be tough some weeks. A basic continental breakfast is included with your stay as is high speed Internet access. The rooms are well appointed and everything is clean. more

Great hotel but bad water 4/27/2006

This hotel is great - the place is well-kept and decorated, the people are nice, and the location is good. The water in the refrigerator is complimentary, a welcome change.\r \r The breakfast in the morning is very good, much better than the usual continental breakfast, with fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit juice, bagels and muffins, fruit salad, and there is even a plate full of cold-cuts. \r \r (Some of the guests were a bit weird - they would run up to the plate of cold-cuts and start popping them in their mouths.)\r \r The problem is the water - I wonder if the problem is with Redwood City or Belmont, as I've had similar experiences at other hotels. I don't know if it is the chloramine they add to the water, but the hot water smells a bit like sulfur. Maybe this is why they provide free drinking water? PROS: Great breakfast, good service CONS: Water smells funny more
