The room and staff were very nice and helpful. I couldn't give it a better rating as the place is undergoing renovation. If I ever go back to Trussville, I'd definitely stay there again. I was there to attend my grandmothers funeral and had booked two nights because of bad weather but had no problem when I could leave after the first night. more

I really had a good time at this Hotel, this wasn't my first stay here. I really like the clean rooms and friendly staff. The location is good with many restaurants nearby. There's a YMCA across the street which you have free access to for staying at the Holiday Inn Express. more

Traveled with an elderly cousin who uses a walker and we had a great experience at the Holiday Inn Express in Trussville, AL. Room was very clean, comfortable and the bathroom was very easy for my cousin to maneuver. Hope to stay at another Holiday Inn Express one of these days! more

We were in town for our granddaughter's volleyball tournament in Birmingham. We found this hotel online. Its not as close to Birmingham as we would have thought, but we had a scenic ride into town. The hotel is in process of extensive renovation, but it did not affect the quality of our stay. more

Upon my arrival Friday night, of renting a two room suite, the A/C unit didn't work in one of the rooms. The staff offered me an additional king suite at no charge for the two night stay. Also they came in Sat and changed out the non-working A/C unit. The manager also left two care packages with a apology letter for the inconveince with our stay. I believe the staff went over and above their calling. more

We were passing through on our way to Gatlinburg. Arrived very late but we were still greeted courteously. The room was very clean. A/C worked fine. Choices for breakfast were a little more than a typical continental breakfast...pancakes, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries and more. more

I am a school bus driver and I brought football players to Clay, AL for a camp and I decided to stay here based on the hotels location. Once I got there it was clean and every worker greeted me and said hi can I help you with anything. This was a plus for me and I will be going back in the future. Thanks for a great stay. more
