We had an emergency situation arise... we had to go out of town the very same day that our cat got out of the hospital for a nasty cat fight. Our vet recommended that we call and board our cat here. We were skeptical at first because we don't like boarding our cat because he is as mean as a lion, but since he needed extra care because of his wounds and medicine that he needed to take, we decided to try it out. The ladies there were unbelievable. I think someone needs to make a documentary about the woman who owns it. There are so many cats there and they get to go outside and play. The owner knows every cat by name and talks to them all as if they are humans. They have a huge outside playground with cat walks and little cat houses for all of them to play in. She gave me the grand tour of the facility. They even have a geriatric cat section, and a special section for those cats that are in need of extra care i.e.- special medications, etc. We were so afraid to leave our cat because he is such a mean cat, even our vet is afraid of our cat. But these ladies weren't afraid... they handled him with no problem and took great care of him. I will use this facility again, and again, and again. It's a small, local, mom and pop kind of place, so don' expect it to be the fanciest thing ever... just expect that your cat will have extra special attention and feel as if he is on a vacation! Also, the cages the cats stay in are really, really large and they all open up to the courtyard so they have a view of the outside and of all the other cats.
Pros: they are genuine cat lovers, cats are able to freely walk around if u allow, lots of space
Cons: kind of smells like cats, but it's a cat hotel so go figure!
