Writing to give my experience when I first visited Holiday Farms. I was met by a nice staff member who was kind enough to explain the steps they take to make sure each dog is taken care of. He then proceeded to show me around and I must say that this is a big place with plenty of room for each dog , unlike other places that cage dogs in small areas. Pay a visit hear and see first hand why this is a good place for dog sitting. more

Holiday Farms is a fantastic place for dog boarding. I was very pleased at the amount of space they have and was assured by there staff that they never place any dog in a small or confined space. What a relief for any dog! more

Holiday Farms 3/7/2011

I am writing to give my 2 cents of this Holiday Farms. The first thing you will notice is how big this place is. Besides the size of Holiday Farms I was met by a staff member who was very nice. I asked about as many questions as I could and he seemed to answer all of them.Great place! more

A place for happy dogs! 3/4/2011

As we drove in I was met by a staff member that made me feel at home. He explained what and where my dog would be fed and placed. I would recommend this place to anyone. Holiday Farms is a great place for dog sitting! more

The staff are super friendly and my dog always seems happy when I drop him off. When I return to pick him up my dog is always happy. The care and love they show him is what keeps me coming back. more

Use to love love love holiday farms...but when the owner left leaving two goofballs in charge...things changed. my dachshund was attacked...they didn't even know anything had happened. didn't offer to pay vet bill or anything. he had about 6 bite wounds...never again. more

Dog Exterminator 7/16/2009

If you want to have your dog put down, then take it to this place. There is no care or concern for the dogs. My friend's beloved family pet (which was a rescue dog) was left in this person's care and she neglected to take the dog out of the 105 degree heat and it died. She will not let you see the kennels. You can only go to a certain point on the property and then you have to wait for your dog to be brought to you. When you drive by you see dogs laying under bushes to try to get out of the heat. On the website it states that Holiday Farms is a member of the Boerne Chamber of Commerce. That is a LIE. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET AT THIS AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: Neglect, Dead dog more

IF YOU HATE ANIMALS THEN THIS IS THE PLACE!!! 7/14/2009

The owner takes money for services which are not provided! She leaves the dogs without sufficent care, shelter and you better hope that your pet can fend for himself! There are dogfights as she lets all of the pets out for ""playtime"" together??? Not enough water or good food for Fido either and she charges $$$. Pros: Absolutely NOTHING!! Cons: Malnutrition, Complete Chaos, Utterly horrifying!!!! more

Beware Too! 7/6/2009

Our beloved boxer was dead from heat stroke when we went to pick up over the holiday. We had given specific instructions that he needed to be in out of the heat during the heat of the day because he had had a heatstroke last summer. We weren't called to tell us he had died on Saturday. The owner said she didn't know he needed to be out of the heat. This is heartbreaking! A neighbor picked up on Friday with a lab with heat exhaustion and our other dog is showing signs of same. Beware of the heat with your pet and check to see that the kennel is doing what they say! We lost a beloved member of the family because of someone's negligence when our pet was in their care. more

BEWARE! 7/5/2009

BEWARE! This place left our dogs out in 105 degree weather despite telling us that they would bring them in if it got too hot. They also did not feed our dogs the food we provided or the proper amounts. We found this out because we picked them up and our lab threw up a massive amount of dog food in our car which was not the food we feed him. Along with this, he was also sick from the other end , had lethargy, and difficulty walking. If you do not want to have to take your dog to the Emergency Vet for dehydrations, Holiday Farms is not the place to go! We also called the facility to inquire why they did not follow our instructions and we were told they were doing ""the best"" they could and hung up on my husband twice. AWFUL!!!!! Cons: needed to take dog to emergency vet after staying here more
