I have had 4 dogs go to this vet, two golden retrievers and two little dogs. The two golden retrievers were old when they passed away of course, but the first golden that we had...

YES, YES, YES! \r From my first-hand experience, this IS the place to go if you love your animals.\r \r I had a sick kitty over Thanksgiving that wouldn't eat or drink. I couldn't tell why she was sick, but I just knew she was sick. I took her to Dr Mueller & Dr Eggleston who diagnosed her with acute renal failure within 30 mins of my office visit. Their immediate recommendation was to get her into the emergency hospital to start IV fluids to dilute out the toxins. The blood work numbers looked bad... but never once did they decide to give up on her. Never once did they behave indifferently and write her off as a lost cause. They were positive every step of the way, using caution and being precise about what next steps to take to ensure her recovery. They stayed optimistic about giving her the best chance to survive. \r \r Thanks to their expertise and quick diagnosis on a late Friday afternoon, my cat is fully back to health a month later. The entire office staff was sympathetic, caring, and nurturing towards my sick kitty. Their love of animals is OBVIOUS and I trust them exclusively with the health of my pets. more

Best Vet In Town 12/18/2013

Not sure who ""Nancy"" is, but based on my experience and the other reviews, it appears she is a pretty sour apple. I have been EXTREMELY fortunate to have Dr. Muller and his staff take care of my dogs. I met Dr. Muller and his staff over 7 years ago when I moved here from Michigan. I was refered to his clinic from a friend who was a client until he moved out of state. Dr. Muller took excellent care of my very big shepherd for many years. After Zeus passed on, my wife's dog Max and now our new family dog Sadie have been patients of HBAH and recieve the best care from the staff and vets there. I always feel well informed concerning my pet's health and wellness. Dr. Muller has an excellent bed side manner and his staff compliments his abilities. If you are a Roswell resident and have pets you really need to have Dr. Muller and his staff be responsible for your pets health needs. more

NO, NO, NO! Do not use this vet if you love your animals at all. They pretend to love animals but it is not true, I know this from first-hand experience. I've had a very, very bad experience with them resulting in the death of my pet. Horrible, neglectful. Just don't do it, they are only vets for profit!!! more

Amazing vet! 11/27/2011

I highly recommend this Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital! We recently started going here after moving. Our cat is still recovering from an infection, but we saw Dr. Eggleston twice this weekend and I cannot say enough amazing things about him and the care he gave our cat. He treated him as if he were his own cat, very personable and thorough, and very sweet to our cat. He answered all of my questions and didn't seem rushed to move on to the next patient. He gave us a very detailed and personal write-up of the exam. Also, there were no hidden expenses and no tests were done without our permission, and cost estimates were given to us first. We had to go back Saturday after an initial visit on Friday, and we weren't charged for the follow-up visit (only the medications). He called to check up on him and seemed genuinely concerned. He also has said that he will call again on Monday to check in again. Incredible vet! Not a cheap office visit charge ($53), but well worth every penny for a pet you love. Clean office and not overrun with people waiting to be seen. more

Best vet I've found 10/7/2011

I now live in Powder Springs, but I drive to this vet for care of my three dogs. I have been impressed with this place since my first visit with my first puppy 3 years ago. Their prices are very reasonable and have never charged me for follow up visits unlike some vets I have tried once I moved. They provide a printout with a current picture of your pet and the reasons for the visit and the results. It doesn't smell like the typical vet's office but is very fresh smelling and clean. The dogs have always been well behaved in the waiting area. Dr. Eggleston spends time to get to know your pet and takes time to answer any questions or elaborate upon medications, injections, cautions, etc. Dr. Muller is full of knowledge, but listen carefully because he talks fast. Both doctors have called to check up on my pets after prescribing treatments for various ailments. I would highly recommend this vet! more

Great Place! 9/20/2011

I have been to several animal hospitals in the area, but I have found Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital as one of the best in town! Dr.Muller and Dr.Eggleston are great doctors and I can not imagine taking any of my pets to anyone else. They've helped my pets in so many ways from sick visits to regular check ups. Thanks to the doctors and staff at HBAH my pets are strong and healthy! more

Best Vet in Town! 9/20/2011

I have been bringing my animals to Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital for the past 9 years. Dr. Muller and Dr. Eggleston are wonderful doctors. My pets are literally my children and I completely trust Dr. Muller and his staff to give them the best care possible. I would recommend Dr. Muller and Dr. Eggleston to anyone who wants the best care for their animal. more

Take a proactive stance with your pet's health and sickness 9/9/2011

Dr. Muller completely missed the testicular cancer caused by the one testicle he left in my dog when he operated on him to remove undescended testicles. He missed the fact that my dog continually lost weight and he kept reporting normal weight in his chart. He missed that blood in the urine could be testicular cancer and not a urinary track infection. I missed that he put he removed both testicles in his chart but told us he couldn't find one. He never looked at my dog's chart before he treated him. This is the second dog I lost to cancer and had no idea both my dogs would die within days because Dr. Muller and his colleagues didn't diagnose my dogs until death was imminent. I blame myself for not doing what I trusted Dr. Muller to do, some research. Take a proactive stance with your dog and when Dr. Muller can't figure it out, immediately take your pet to the emergency hospital for pets. Yes, Dr. Muller is a good vet for well visits and minor issues but not skilled or thorough enough for the more serious problems. more

Where to go when your pet is a member of your family... 8/15/2011

I've been taking my dogs and cats to Dr. Muller for over 10 years now and would never consider using another vet. Every time I walk out of their office I feel confident my animal is getting the best care possible. Dr. Muller has a unique ability to explain in detail everything about your pet's health and gives you a comfort you just can't assign a dollar value to. Without hesitation I recommend him to my friends and family. more

Holcomb bridge animal hospital 8/7/2011

I've been using HBAH for over 17 years with 7 different animals. They've always been friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Mueller is always attentive and explains everything is easily understandable language. His love of animals truly comes out in his work. more

worth the 25 miles I drive 8/6/2011

We've lived in three different states and have tried out many different veterinarians over the years. By far and away Dr. Muller is our favorite. Upon our return to Atlanta, on our first visit, Dr. Muller recognized that our dog was misdiagnosed by another vet in Washington DC. We couldn't be happier with HBAH. Monthly facebook specials are awesome too! more

Experienced and Knowledgeable 8/5/2011

My wife and I have had 3 dogs over the 15+ years we've been going to Doc Muller. He has handled some very delicate and rare situations with knowledge and experience. I feel confident that what he says *is* the truth. His staff has always been very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Whether it is a routine checkup, a medical emergency or holiday/vacation boarding we highly recommend this hospital. more

Intern's Perspective 3/16/2011

As a high school intern, I first came to Holcomb Bridge Animal hospital around 10 weeks ago not sure what to expect. But coming here twice a week has been an incredible learning experience for me. I've gotten a lot of hands on experience with the patients, and the staff I work with are both friendly and also very helpful and patient with explaining veterinary procedures and concepts to me. The animals are very well treated here, and you can tell that the staff truly have a passion for what they do by how they care for their patients. They also have formed great relationships with their patients' owners, which is definitely a plus when it comes to providing care. I've thoroughly enjoyed all my time spent interning here and I couldn't have asked for a better learning experience and perspective of the veterinary field. more

#1 Animal Hospital 3/13/2011

Dr.Muller at Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital has been taking care of my beloved four legged children for several years. I enjoy walking into a hospital so professional with great customer service. The doctors and staff at HBAH go over and beyond to meet any of your needs. Whether you go in for a regular checkup or an emergency your pet(s) will be well taken care of and be treated as if it were one of their own. HBAH is truly one of the best animal hospitals in the entire state! more

Happy Place to Be 3/11/2011

I have been working at Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital for ten years. I consider this place my second home and an extension of my family. I am proud to be a part of Dr. Muller's team. The compassion and work ethic expressed in both his medicine and leadership as a boss is to be valued. I have adopted several animals through Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital. Muffy, Wilma, and Sherbert have completed my home in many ways. I love our patients, although I do have some very special relationships with some of my favorites. On behalf of the staff of Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital, I want to thank our clients and our loving patients, especially Little Dude. Come Down and become a part of my family. more

Best Vet Ever 3/11/2011

We have been patients of Dr. Muller at Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital since 2005. Our cats have multiple health issues ranging from allergies to severe arthritis and cardiomyopathy. Dr. Muller and his staff are very caring, providing compassionate treatment at the office and a quick response to phone calls in between visits. Dr. Muller is never invasive in his diagnosis. He looks at the situation thoroughly before ordering x-rays or tests that may not be needed. His treatment is always in the best interest of our cats. When necessary, he is even open to recommending other vets that provide alternative therapies as a complement to his traditional medicine and he recommends the best in the business. We?re confident that all the doctors and staff at Holcomb Bridge Animal Hospital are providing the best care for cats, our family. more

Good service and friendly, doesn't care for the animals like they should 7/4/2008

I have had 4 dogs go to this vet, two golden retrievers and two little dogs. The two golden retrievers were old when they passed away of course, but the first golden that we had went to this vet since she was a puppy. We went to the vet and they said that she had some issues, but she should be fine... A week later we walk into our house and she is no longer with us. I think that going to a vet and saying that everything should be fine and giving her the medicine she was supposed to take and a week later our dog passing away is a little ridiculous, but we keep going to the vet for some reason. Then we have another golden, who was younger than our first when she passed away because of kidney issues. She was at the vet when they put her to sleep. Now our little dog that is about 12 years old goes to him still because we have been going to him for so long and he is a very nice vet. Well our dog was in boarding and on a holiday they don't tell us that they are closed nor does the message machine. I go by at 10:00 in the morning then at 12:00 and no one is there and it doesn't look like they have been. I think that it is a little ridiculous that my dog was there for I don't know how long with no one there incase something goes wrong. They should have either told us that they were closed or at least had it on their message machine. We will no longer be going to this vet because I consider this HORRIBLE! If my dog is being boarded their should be someone there to take care of him. There are plenty of vets that I can go to now that will have someone there 24 hours a day 7 days a week. This vet does not have that. Pros: Nice vet Cons: Not caring enough more

hate to leave 8/27/2007

it's a real shame that i will no longer be bringing my dog to this vet hospital. after years (20+) of depending on doctor muller and his above average bedside manner and veterinary skills, i must end my relationship with him due to extremely poor customer care on the part of his daughter (the office manager). i have no interest in patronizing a business that has total lack of regard for established relationships, especially those that deal with such emotional issues as the care of my pet. while i do care a great deal for this particular veterinarian and thank him for his years of service, i will not be spoken to in a rude and condescending way from the woman who manages the front of the office. he should take care to keep effective and compassionate people on staff or else this may lead to an alarming trend of lost patients. Pros: excellent vet care Cons: rude front desk staff more
