This is the sort of place you take your parents to. I love my parents, and I love this place. I have gone for lunch, and everyone around the table was quite happy with their meals. Vegetarian options abound, and the staff will work with you on your dietary requests. I didn't think the non-American dishes on the menu would be worth it, but I was utterly wrong. Delish! Pros: Historic location, Interesting menu, Seasonal patio seating, friendly staff, parking more

Outstanding 4/22/2006

Aside from the amazing food the atmoshphere at The Hoffman House is refreshing. The wait staff was most friendly and the married couple who own the restaurant were greeting every person who walked in the door. I highly recommend The Hoffman House and especially for those history buffs. The history of the house is remarkable and you can read all about it on the back of the menu. With fireplace dining in the winter and an outside patio in the summer you will love this restaurant! more
