This is the best 8/14/2005

This is the place. Not only is there a variety of books concerning the African-American experience and culture, but there is something for everyone: men, women, children, artists, health-nutritionists, and of course philosophers. This is, quite simply, the BEST second-hand bookshop in the town. Sure, there are others with more stock, rarer books, etc., but this store is what a used-book shop should be more

Rare books? - what rare 8/12/2005

Ironically it is rare to find rare books here. To my surprise I found the contemporary books section bigger than the rare books section. I was told that this bookstore is famous for its rare books. How wrong they were. They have a marketing strategy that I have to the core. As an example, they increase the price of a book by about three percent and give you a discount of two percent. People like me who do some research from other bookstores in the city find this ridiculous. Enter this place at your own risk. They have a nice cool ambience though. more
