Meticulously crafted sushi. Cali roll and spicy tuna rolls deliciously made with Japanese baby mayo. Very clean and sanitary place. A bit slow, but worth the wait. Angus beef teriyaki is delicious. Generous portions. more

Very friendly owner - just call him Hobi! Teriyaki is awsome! Sushi is very fresh! And his party plates are always the rave at every potluck or party I take them to! His spicy tuna is one of a kind, and his Jumbo rolls are a MUST to try!!! And I do mean JUMBO rolls!!!!! More power to you, Hobi-chan!!!! Pros: takes call-in orders, very clean, really fresh sushi! Cons: almost always a one-man show, so it takes a while for your food to be ready more

I can never thank the Internet enough for helping me find this awesome little place located on Carson St. here in Torrance. The food is delicious! The sushi was fresh and not smelly. The teriyaki sauce was so delicious! The rice was perfect...the soup to die for. I couldn't believe that such a little place could provide such cleanliness and such flavor! The prices are reasonable and the owners are really nice. It is totally worth a visit! I can't wait to eat there again. Hobi's is truly found treasure!!!!
