Hobby House is a great place to find good old fashioned toys, you wont find many battery operated or plastic toys here. Mosty imaginary and educational fun toys. Its great , the store is fairly small and not much room to walk around, but its easy to deal with. I love thier selection of wooden toys, the melissa & doug toys are great and the thomas the train toys are addicting. The punch card system is great too. After 10 punches you get $15 off :) more

Cute Store 8/18/2005

I tool my son to Hobby House Toys and we both absolutely loved it. It is a very small store, not a lot of room to walk around or lug a stroller but the had a great selection of finer toys. They carry a big selection of Thomas the Train engines and tracks, some of which are hard to find. I thought some of the stuff was a little expensive but most Thomas the Train stuff is wherever you go. They had some unique toys and some great learning toys I had when I was little. They are absolutely worth checking out, especially if you have some one tough to buy a gift for or are looking for a unique toy. more
