This is the best place to go for Wilton cake decorating supplies or candy-making supplies. Forget the big craft store chains! I go in this store whenever we have a birthday coming up and I usually end up spending more than I intended to spend, but the selection here is outstanding and I find myself pulled into new projects as I shop. On a recent trip, I found a beautiful little tier set to make a baby's first birthday cake (I was looking for a miniaturized version of a tiered cake). And I also ended up buying candy molds to make treats for easter--and a flower shaped pan to bake cookies on sticks. I love to celebrate the seasons and the holidays with home-baked yummies and I love the way they turned out. more

The place in Nampa for your Craft Needs 4/7/2006

Now that Mac’s is gone, Hobby Center is about the only place to go for your crafting needs (besides JoAnns, which can be hit & miss at times). Hobby Center has a huge selection, very large clean store. The ladies there are always so friendly and willing to help you find what you are looking for. I only wish it wasn’t so far away and right now, through all that construction. Their prices are very reasonable, too. more
