I've purchased about $5,000.00 in RC aircraft and parts from Hobby Bench. Every time I make a big purchase, I get smiles.

This place is horrible. We called in advance for parts they said they had them. We get here and they don't have the parts. To top it off my son is potty training I asked the lady at the register if he could use the restroom and her excuse to not let him use them was "" they don't have insurance for that"". I would have been okay with going somewhere else for the restroom but she didn't need to lie about it. I would never recommend someone go to this place. Go to duncans rc on 35th ave and Glendale you will get much better service. more

Best Customer Service EVER 3/7/2011

I've been to other Hobby Shops around the valley and their employees seem not to be happy about their job and they are usually on a very bad mood. However, People at Hobby Bench on 19th Ave are AWESOME! they are always helping everybody with their questions about setups and tuning their Nitro engines. I am not sure how much they know about anything else besides cars but i would imagine that they are great as well. They are super friendly and the guy over at cars called Randy is an Expert on them and i can call him anytime and he will help with any questions. Thumbs up! more

That's -5 Stars from me 7/17/2010

43rd and Bell Hobby Bench was absolutely the worst customer experience BY FAR, than any other hobby store that I have ever walked in.\r If you have questions? Don't waste your time. They actually act like you're wasting their time.\r I'll travel to the other side of the city before stopping by this store. Being into RC aircraft, I ran into other RC'ers. I had mentioned that I was going to write to the store owner. I was told that I'd get more of the same attitude. I'd buy from china before purchasing ANYTHING at hobby bench. more

Hobby Bench is great 9/14/2009

We have been going to the Hobby Bench for years. They have a large inventory and helpful knowledgeable staff. We go for the Playmobil, 1/72 toy soldier and museum quality dinosaur selection, but they have modeling supplies, crafts, doll houses and trains. Prices are reasonable. One of the few hobby stores left where you can touch and see an item before you buy it. more

Hobby bench Complete hobby and craft center 4/3/2008

I enjoy painting by number sets very much and I like to do old farm houses and scenery such as country settings. Well I didn't realize how hard it was going to be trying to find paint by number sets and a friend recommended the Hobby Bench shop. We went there and still didn't find what I wanted and the man working there was a tremendous help. He asked me what I was looking for and when I told him he offered to order me some. I have been going there since! I would gladly tell people about his place anytime. more
