I stayed at Hotel Donaldson and decided to check out Hodo since the menu looked amazing. It certainly was, and they have very yummy cocktails, I was surprised to find such a sophisticated restaurant in Fargo, but I was definitely pleased! Pros: great food, great drinks more

Good food, romantic place! 9/7/2008

Lets accept it, we don't have a lot of good restaurants here in Fargo. I went to HoDo restaurant the other day celebrating my wife's birthday. I ordered the shrimp and scallops dish while my wife ordered the duck. I found the food presentable, tasty and contemporary. The deserts were specially nice. The decor is nice and romantic. The service was a bit slow, we spent almost 2 hours at the restaurant. However they didn't charge us for the deserts for that reason. My overall experience at the restuarant was good. Best bar in town...European style 2/2/2007

The only place of its kind in Fargo. Great drinks and music. There is live jazz band at the restaurant part almost every week. The lounge is packed,the music is very uplifting but not too loud. It is a great place to start your evening before going to dance or to end your evening after dinner at the restaurant side. The salads were award winning. Prices are reasonable.
