Historic Wilhite House

Thank you for EVERYTHING you did for us. Our wedding was absolutely perfect in every aspect. I just want you to know that you, your husband and the whole entire Wilhite House family will always have a very special place in our hearts and I feel we have made life-long friendships with you guys. OMG Lori, Holly & Chris’s wedding was GREAT! I’m not much with words but just KNOW how VERY PLEASED the Cagle and Jones families are with everything and every person affiliated with The Wilhite House. First your home is just beautiful and thank you for sharing it with all of us. Your staff was friendly and wonderful. Your coordinator worked her backside off and I am sending her an email also. We think she is outstanding. The food/drink and cake were amazing. Please know it was noticed the great lengths that you all did to ready everything for the wedding after the rain. I wanted everything to be just the way my baby girl imagined her wedding to be and it was! The two words: “THANK YOU” just aren’t enough to express to you and everyone at The Wilhite House for all that was done to make August 21,2010 such a special one for Holly and Chris and everyone who attended. We think The Wilhite House rocks and I am forever indebted to all of you for all that was done. Please let the owner of the horse & carriage know that Chalk and the buggy were beautiful and how much I appreciate her time and management of her magnificent horse…and last, but not least, please thank your son, Josh for a job well done with the music!! "Kaycee and I would like to thank everyone at The Wilhite House for helping out with our Wedding Day. We had a wonderful time and made some memories we will never forget. Our family and friends are still talking about that day. They have also commented on how beautiful the house is and how beautiful the grounds were, and were amazed by how beautiful the food presentation looked. The melon with our initials was beautiful. The guests at our wedding had nothing by Great things to say about the food. The Cadillac ride was relaxing and entertaining. Jim is a great guy, and funny. While we were driving he would honk the horn and let everyone know we were just married and we soaked it in! We were the center of attention and were on cloud nine. Josh did a good job selecting the music and making sure that our ceremony music was perfect. Thank you Josh for a job well done. Everything from the breathtaking gardens, the beautiful brides room, incredible food, the friendily, professional staff, DJ and horse & carriage was just perfect. I can not imagine a more elegant, beautiful location for my wedding! I would recommend it to anyone! And I have! I have two friends who will be married soon and at least one of them is going to choose The Wilhite House. more

I had the most wonderful experience here from start to finish! The house is incredible! A beautiful old mansion full of southern charm. It was very convenient; everything from the catering to the centerpieces was taken care of. The owners and staff made me feel like I was part of the family, very accommodating. We would recommend this facility for any occasion. more

I just want to tell everyone the great experiecne we had here. All of our family members were from out of town and were very impressed with the house, the grounds (beautiful gardens), decorations and most of all the Food! We wanted to write to say how much we enjoyed our wedding at The Wilhite House. You wouldn't believe the compliments that we have gotten from our guests about the house, the decorations and the food! Even people who didn't come to the wedding, but have seen the pictures, commented on how beautiful the house and garden were! I had one guest tell me that she always wanted her daughters to elope, but when she saw me arriving in the carriage, she reconsidered!! It was everything and more than I had ever pictured my wedding being! The Wilhite House has a special thing going and I wish them the best! more

"My wedding day at The Wilhite House was very memorable. My friends talked about it for many weeks following. The owner's took the time from the first day to listen to my ideas and offer help making them a reality. They were truly a ""Godsend"". From the doves to the horse & carriage to the impeccable food everything was perfect! The owner and her husband were very cordial throughout the entire year of planning...there was never a change in their disposition or the atmosphere that they created for The Wilhite House. Elegance was what I wanted and elegance is what I received. more

Katie and I was married at the Wilhite House last September, and it was GORGEOUS! The wife and I were hoping for a sunny outdoor wedding, but it poured. So, the creative minds at the Wilhite House still made it possible for us to have our outdoor wedding in their beautiful pavilion. It was PERFECT! They also made our wedding cake for us, and it was exactly what we were envisioning. It was by far the best cake I've ever had, period. I could go on and on about the food they made. Everything was melt in your mouth delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding. I want other couples to have just as perfect wedding as ours, so I am currently the executive Chef of the mobile catering. more
