Back In Time
This home, built by Civil War veteran and master carpenter William H. Waterhouse in the late 1800s, is as traditional as Florida homes get. Two stories, with lots of aged pine, cozy bedrooms, plenty of "breeze" spaces (designed so the wind would cool you in the summer), a large porch and some unique landscaping.
Tool Shed
The small carpentry museum, more like a large wooden shed, sits adjacent to the house. Inside, you'll find a myriad of historical and modern carpentry tools. Lectures and classes are available, in case you want to take up a new hobby or learn the history of the craft.
Choice Location
The residence sits in picturesque Lake Lily Park, making it an atypical cultural diversion during a long day of relaxation.
