Betty & I experienced our first B&B at Matewan House B&B and it was far beyond our expectations. Sharon and Pat Garland were very hospitable. Our room was tastefully decorated and confortable. The food was delicious and the dining atmosphere was exceptional. We highly recommend this B&B for a memorable visit to relax and experience a taste of West Virginia history.Thanks to the Garlands for a wonderful anniversary (46) celebration. more

Best Southern Hospitality 9/19/2005

As an Avid Atv rider this was one of the best places I have ever stayed please call them and chat for a while and you will find out just what my wife and i found out pappy's food alone is worth the trip and the history also enjoy more
