My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary trip in July 2006. We had a wonderful time! The campsite was great...a canopy of trees made a sort of cave in which we pitched our tent. When we got up in the morning and walked out of the ""cave"", we had the most breathtaking ocean views! There is a private beach area with tidepools to explore and and lots of walking trails. I did not want to leave and have wanted to take our children there ever since. We are hoping to make it a tradition at least with our youngest who is almost 5. Since the campground has now reopened, we are planning a trip there as soon as possible. While staying at the campsite, we also drove into Gold Beach and Port Orford and did some sightseeing and hiking along beach cliff trails. I recommend that anyone who loves camping, either tent or RV, should check out Arizona Beach. We tell friends and family about it all the time. The only negative while we were there was that it was up for sale and the bathrooms and laundry facilities had not been kept up too well. PLus there was a little lake that needed attention as well...but all is all an absolutely joyous vacation spot!
Pros: The views and peacefulness
Cons: Facilities weren't in the best repair
