I purchased a 2016 2500 HD and have put only 800 miles on it. There is a metal grinding noise. I took the truck to Hirlinger on two different times regarding the issue, and they put new brakes and tires on it, while I sat there for 5 hours, on day one and two. The noise was still there, they told me they didn't have time to work on it. I rescheduled and when took off work and went back in, they informed me, they were not going to work on it again (I had been black balled by GM). I googled issues with the 2500 HD and there have been other people who have experienced the same problem. Since I couldn't get GM or Hirlinger to help me with the issue, I took the truck to a Ford dealership and they said it is a wheel bearing and couldn't believe Hirlinger and GM were refusing to honor the warranty. I am disappointed in how both GM and Hirlinger are handling this issue and treating me as a customer and I have decided to contact an attorney to see what actions I can take regarding the lemon law or how I can get GM or Hirlinger to fix this issue. I have been a loyal GM customer since the day I could drive, but after this experience and GM and Hirlinger's lack of customer service, I will not purchase another GM product, nor will my family. I guess the personnel at Hirlinger has never heard the saying, one unsatisfied customer tells 11 people.
