Some pricing confusion, but a good result. 9/12/2013

The work that Hiltons Flooring did was replacing the kitchen counter top with a granite and marble top. When I first went in, they gave me an estimate for the work. Then when they came and did everything, they gave me a price. Someone then came out to look at the work done, and they gave me a different price. I had taken in a schematic of what I wanted with the backsplash they put in included. I guess the backsplash wasn't counted in the first estimate or price. Apparently there are two presidents there, and one gave one estimate, while the other gave another. One does floors and one does counter tops. I think that's what happened. They didn't seem to be on the same page. It looks great, though. more

Hilton's Flooring put granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. Everybody was very professional. The salesperson came by a couple times to make sure everything was going well, and it was all just a really good job. more

They were extremely nice, wonderful people at Hiltons Flooring. We ran into a couple little problems for which they apologized over and over, and some decisions made were not quite to my liking. The management was a little bit scattered at times, but nice. The workmanship was good, as was their followup. If I had any problems, they started fixing it right away. I walk into my room, look at the floor, and love it. If I were recommending them to a friend, I would say to the friend, "But ask questions and be on top of things". more

Wonderful work! 7/31/2013

Hiltons Flooring did a wonderful job of installing new carpeting in our home. Chris was knowledgeable about a problem area I had and was so easy to work with. Likewise, Kateri was friendly, helpful and thorough in answering my questions. Equally as important, the crew they sent out was great! The guys were friendly, courteous and did excellent work. They worked quickly, efficiently and put all the furniture back with care. They also wanted to make sure I was happy with everything they did as they went along. This is definitely a company you will be happy to employ for quality work. more

I don't have any issues with my new floors. 7/22/2013

I think Hiltons Flooring had a subcontractor doing all the work. They put down some square ceramic tile in the kitchen and dining area, and two of my bedrooms got carpet. I was satisfied with it. more

Hiltons Flooring put in carpet at our home and it was a good process. They are good people and everything looked finished. They helped put the furniture back and were thorough in finishing the job. more

Can't say enough good things! 7/12/2013

One huge plus is that you're dealing directly with the owners. Chris and Kateri Dodson have a thorough knowledge of flooring - carpeting in our case - and provided excellent service from start to finish. Installation (ask for Jesse) was done expertly, and Chris came back more than once to make very trimming. You may pay less at other places, but you won't get the same value. You get what you pay for, as the saying goes, but we feel we got even more. Highly recommended. more

Kitchen Counter Tops 7/3/2013

We are very pleased with the installation of our quartz kitchen counter tops and the tile back splash. The staff and installers were great to work with. This can be a big decision and you want to get it right the first time. Hilton helped us with that. more

Chris and Kateri Dodson were so friendly and easy to work with. They are very knowlegeable and helped us pick the perfect flooring for our home. The installer and his crew were always on time, polite, dependable, neat and did an excellent job. We will definitely use Hilton's again in the future and will recommend to our friends. more

oustanding value and customer service 6/24/2013

I need to replace the carpet in one of my rentals and just happened to see the store front as I was driving along Division St. in Arlington. I went in, was helped right away, and made an appointment to have Chris come out to measure that same afternoon. My carpet was installed on time and looks great! I will use Hilton's for all of my future flooring and counter top needs. more

Great installation 6/24/2013

Hiltons Flooring installed carpet and a tile floor and a dressing room. They did the work well, cleaned up nicely after themselves, and it was just a good experience. They were able to stick to time and cost estimates. The two workers they sent out did a real nice job! more

Great local company, great people, very experienced, on-time instillation. No high pressure sales tactics, knowledgable people willing to educate first-time customers. Be prepared for instillation to reveal problems unrelated to the current project. Spend time considering all aspects of the project including obvious ones such as the material color and appropriateness, but also the type of sink and its longevity and/or its possible replacement at some future date. Counter sinking cook top would have been nice, but did not think of idea before instillation of counter tops. more
